I just got off the phone with the head Dr. of the MIR Reflexology institute and it looks like I will be taking the mini home study which is only $1,000 .00 instead of the $2,600.00 course which is the same certification just more equipment and tools.
That means I can start now , without having to round up more sponsors . I am so excited . I have to start logging hours so it wont be long before I need guinea pigs for awesome foot and hand rubs.
I will post more about school, and the trade and how things are going when I start up.

Need a Jump Start
Friends and Family,
As I move forward through some difficult times I have realized I need to learn to dream more.
I want to pursue my passion for natural healing. As I work to change my own health, and create peace in my environment it is my hope to generate a side income as well as be a hands on mother,while working in a field that makes me feel fulfilled.
I have had a deep interest for Reflexology for some time now. After borrowing a book from a friend and using many of the techniques on myself and family members,it left me fascinated and wanting to learn more.
I have found a credited on line school, which will allow me to become a professional , certified Reflexologist. Modern Institute of Reflexology is licensed and recognized as a professional post education school.
The institute has a variety of levels in which I can get started . The max is $2,600.00 and this will include ; lessons, textbooks, charts, videos, tutoring, six months of malpractice/liability insurance, and all the equipment necessary to get started.
Instead of getting in to debt or borrowing the institute suggests getting 26 people to sponsor me @ $100.00 in trade for 4 to 6 hours of treatments that I am required to log as I train. I will get the certification , log my required hours, and my sponsors get to help me out and enjoy the instant health benefits of Reflexology treatments.
I will post more information about the course, the science behind Reflexology and my progress. Anyone who wants to contribute an account has been set up from a third party who will collect all moneys until my tuition goal is reached.
